Returns
We accept returns of new, unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged products within 15 days from the date of delivery of original purchase. Products must be returned in their original condition, including all packaging, hardware protectors, attached hang tags, dust bag, etc.
Warehouse Sale and Final Sale items are not eligible for return, exchange or credit without exception and merchandise is sold as is.

Overall, I love this bag and really enjoy using it as my work and everyday bag. I've noticed a few issues in the course of using it for the past few months but they are by no means deal breakers.
Pros:
Gorgeous -- looks expensive and is even lovelier in person. The leather is beautiful and is softening nicely over time.
Weight distribution -- it weighs more than some other bags I own, but it doesn't feel as heavy and causes less strain on my shoulders.
Five feet -- love this detail; the middle one makes a huge difference.
Side pockets -- so handy for water bottles as you don't have to worry about liquids spilling into your bag.
Keyholder -- makes keys very easy to find.
Cons:
Shoulder strap -- a little too long, especially for my petite frame. I got a custom-made shorter strap and the bag now looks much better on me proportion-wise.
Zippers -- don't look/feel as luxurious as the rest of the bag. The zipper hardware is a much yellower gold than the rest of the hardware, the zipper pulls have loose stitching; and the zippers sometimes get stuck.
Magnetic closures -- they're very strong, to the point that they are stretching the leather in certain places. They also caused problems with demagnetizing hotel keys on a recent trip.
I am beyond thrilled with my modern bag. I’ve been following this company ever since the transform tote was on kick starter, but I really wanted the modern bag and just waited for a sale. It exceeds my expectation. It is sturdy and the leather is smooth . It was on sale because of defects, but I lucked out and got a great looking bag. The size is perfect for my height (5’). The shoulder strap is great but once it is secured, it is difficult to remove, which is actually a good thing. So decide on what mode you want, I don’t know if you can have both purse mode and backpack mode on at the same time. I was going back and forth between a well known brand (Cuyana and Senreve) and this and I am so glad I went for this because I liked the shape, the magnetic flap, the gold hardware, and backpack strap, and the shoe compartment, and I am very happy supporting a small business. For reference, I have Mina Baie Full Stevie (3lbs 10 oz), Azaria La Mere, and Jujube BFF, and this bag is about as spacious as the Stevie but as light as the La Mere. To clean, I would recommend leather honey and conditioner (you can buy on Amazon).
I’ve had my eye on this bag for a very long time; the regular price was a little too much for me at the time, but the warehouse sale made it accessible and I was okay with having an imperfect product. To be quite honest, I’m not even sure what is considered imperfect about it; the only thing I can think of it is the key ring, which is on a long strip of leather as opposed to a ring mounted inside the bag near the cover, as per the video in the product description.
The bag is beautifully crafted and the detail is wonderful; each metal rival is embossed with a P from the Pond logo and the adjustable straps are very convenient. It’s great to carry my laptop and files around; the magnetic closure for the inside laptop pouch sometimes has a hard time catching but works very well for the most part. There is a nice zippered pocket where I keep my wallet and two extra pockets for anything else you may need, like a mouse or sunglass case.
The pocket along the back, where the backpack straps would sit, is very ideal; for COVID, it’s a great spot to keep a mask. From other reviews I’ve seen, it’s a great spot to keep a phone, but if you have a larger phone, such as Plus sized iPhone, the magnet closure won’t fully catch; it’s ideal for smaller sized phones.
I’ve yet to use any other straps than the backpack straps; they’re perfect for distributing the weight of the bag. If you have a short torso, even the smallest strap adjustment can feel a little long, but it’s still very nice to use.
In all, a lovely bag and I highly recommend! Be prepared for high duty fees if having it delivered outside of the US, however.
Beautiful is what comes to mind for starters. When I received my bag I could not believe how gorgeous it was. Ive probably owned more then 100 pulse purses and this is one of the prettiest I’ve ever owned I didn’t even want to take it out of the package and use it unless it is for a SPECIAL occasion! Also the customer from this company is superb and to make it even better you get a hand written thank you note from the owner! I will be buying another bag very soon!
I've been looking for a new work bag and took a chance on this one, and so far I love it! The bag is beautiful, versatile, and roomy. It's big enough for my laptop, planner, workout clothes, running shoes, and a small makeup bag. Also love that this can convert to a backpack. Very happy with this bag!
